Earth Gems is owned and run by Judith McColl.
Judith has owned and operated a bead shop in Christchurch and has many years experience teaching beaded jewelry classes. She now lives in Nelson and is keen to teach local people the art of beading. What started as a simple hobby for Judith quickly became a passion, she describes working with beads as “quite calming, almost like meditation”.
She sells a wide range of beading materials and jewelry making supplies via her Earth Gems Beading Studio in Nelson. Courses are run at the studio and the local college. The evening courses are ideal for people living in Nelson, Richmond or Motueka to attend and learn the art of making beaded jewelry.
